Oudh "The Liquid Gold"

Hello folks, Soumya here back again with another post for you all my today's blog post The Liquid God which is in partial relation to one of my previous post on Scent Sessional Decoding where I shared the best way to select a perfume while shopping online and also brought up TWO of my favourite fragrances this winter. Luxure Oudh & Whisky Smoke the common factor in both of them are OUDH. Oudh, also known as agarwood or aloeswood, is a fragrant resinous wood that is prized for its distinctive aroma. I am a perfume lover and also a certified perfumer where in blend of proper notes matters to me the most. In case of Oudh it is someting different as it creates the magic all alone by itself and getting blend to the oudh is like icing on the cake.

I must say that Oudh fragrance can vary depending on the quality of the wood, the region it comes from, and how it is processed. Some oudh fragrances are more floral or fruity, while I find others are smoky or leathery I know many of oudh lovers would agree with me on this. The scent can also change over time, becoming more complex and nuanced as it ages. Because of its strong and distinctive scent, oudh is often used as a base note in perfumes, meaning that it forms the foundation of the fragrance and lasts the longest. The fragrance of oudh is so expensive to get an ounce into the bottle. Due to such reason and richness of the fragrance and the royal charm it gets, Oudh is also often termed as the Liquid Gold and also due its because of its rarity, high value, and preciousness. Oudh is rich, deep, and complex, with notes of wood, resin, musk, and sometimes even fruit or floral elements. Because of its rarity and high cost, oudh has become a status symbol for many cultures and is often associated with wealth, luxury, and opulence. Apart from fragrance, It has also been used for medicinal purposes in traditional Asian medicine, and is believed to have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties.

The value of oudh has increased significantly in recent years, as demand for luxury fragrances and other products has grown around the world. High-quality oudh oil can fetch prices of thousands of dollars per kilogram, making it one of the most expensive natural substances on earth.In addition to its use in perfumes and incense, oudh is also used in a variety of other luxury products, including soaps, candles, and even food and drink. Some high-end restaurants use oudh in their cooking, adding a unique and exotic flavor to their dishes as well. The rarity, complexity, and rich history of oudh have contributed to its reputation as "liquid gold" in many cultures, making it a highly sought-after and prized ingredient in the world of luxury goods.

In addition to its use in luxury goods, oudh is also used in spiritual and religious contexts. It is often burned as incense in Islamic, Hindu, and Buddhist ceremonies, and is believed to have purifying and healing properties. It is also sometimes used in aromatherapy and meditation practices, as its scent is thought to have a calming and grounding effect on the mind and body. Trust me on this the ambience gets uplifted with richness, warmth, Divine and a royal feel weather be it the oudh fragrance that you apply on yourself or be it the Oudh Incense Stick. Oudh has a long and fascinating history. The agarwood tree, from which oudh is derived, is native to Southeast Asia, and has been used for its scent and medicinal properties for thousands of years. Despite its high cost, oudh remains a symbol of wealth, luxury, and prestige in many cultures, and its popularity shows no signs of waning anytime soon.

Scent-Sessional Decoding

 Hello folks, Soumya here back again with another post for you all Scent Sessional decoding 😃. In this session we will decode on the matter on how to select the best perfume as per your needs while shopping online. 

In my former days when online shopping just emerged in the market with brands like homeshop18, followed by Amazon and Flipkart it was difficult for me to select a perfume online through some shopping site. As time went by  did certification on perfume making which really helped me to imagine about a fragrance just by checking the notes of the fragrance.

There are several other factors as well which I will discuss on my today's blog. I am sure at the end of the blog it will help you to make better decisions while purchasing perfume online. 

Choosing a perfume can be a very personal decision, but here are some tips on how to choose a perfume wisely:

I must also add up that there are 2 personal favourites of mine  as per the spice in the scents are considered.

2- Whisky Smoke --- The unique blend of oudh and cinnamon makes it vibrant. It has got higher concentration than other perfumes. It has top notes of Whiskey, Tobacco, Spice while Coriander and Vanilla give it an alluring freshness.  Hello Folks, Soumya here, I hope you all are doing well. I am here with my first blog post on online shopping. Before I proceed a brief intro on me: I have been working with British Telecom as Business Advisor with prior experience in Customer service and Sales with UK's leading Telecom brands.
